This year, for the first time, the camp was specially targeted for our older participants from 12 years old. We have chosen to adapt our activities precisely to this age category. We loved it this way and we enjoyed the camp. We hope that the teenagers enjoyed as we did and hope we will see you in the summer 2017!
This year we sailed to Hrone. We could not be more perfect as most of our boaters did not navigate this river for the first or second time. The weather did not disappoint us, sometimes the sun was overwhelmed, the river was flashing and it was so great that we had agreed on the next year's Danube.
This year's dancing camp we stayed in Oščadnica. The camp wasn't only learning how to dance. Every day was filled with lots of competitions and fun games. Did you like the camp as we did? If yes, let's see again next year!
Ahoj, ja sa volam Wara, ja som z Bolivia a ja mam 23 rokov. My EVS project is for 8 months, i am here already 6, my time is running so fast! This time was more than amazing, I met great people with who i learned so many things.
I didn´t expect something like what i am living now, i like my activities here with kids and teenagers, is great for me know another people, culture and mentality, that makes me open my mind, explore and enjoy our differences.
Our first volunteer project, Creative Youth, supported under the ERASMUS + project, enabled 5 young people to travel to Russia, the Black Sea for three weeks in August 2014, and gain experience working in an international team, leading activities for Russian children.
This camp wasn't international only with the team leaders - Richard from Costa Rica, James and Hanna from England, Lenka and Kika from Slovakia, Vicki from China - but also with the children. 8 children from China came to experience our summer camp together with Slovak children.
The children of last year agreed to return to Hron again. The first day was full of rain, but it did not break us. We went according to the plan and managed. For the last two days, we were surprised and managed to sail down to New Bane and we made a crash record - 100 km.
Gerben, Twigg, Elly, Romana and Mirka and 18 children. It was the first Fight for Survival camp this year's. It was an exelent game that we drove children out of the camp, and they were supposed to find the way back to the camp. They all came.
At the end of the world and in the footsteps of Sherlock Holmes. That's where our camps started in the beautiful Devin valley. We did not hesitate to visit the open-air museum in Vychylovka and take a train ride.
