As part of the European project KA2 MIND, we created an extensive 14-hour training program focused on strengthening mental health practices and improving emotional well-being.
In this article, you can download the complete manual and attachments for this training, which are invaluable for professionals as well as for anyone facing mental health challenges.
You will learn how to identify signs of fragile mental health, recognize your emotions, debunk common myths and stigma, and apply effective coping strategies to build resilience against stress and anxiety. We will also explore the unique challenges faced by young people (especially in VET) and participants in international mobility programs.
The main goal of this methodology is to contribute to better mental health among young people and support their positive relationship with nature. It addresses the alarming state of young people's mental health and their alienation from nature.
It also includes a detailed description of a two-day outdoor course based on the principles of experiential education, which provides participants with practical eco-therapeutic tools and basic theoretical knowledge about mental well-being and stress.
The mental health of young people during mobility is a key issue. Stays abroad can be enriching for students, but also challenging. How can coordinators and teachers prevent mental health issues? The MIND project has produced two new guides to support and prevent mental health issues. Find out more in the article.
The study analyses what factors most affect young people's mental wellbeing, what barriers prevent them from accessing support, and what steps need to be taken to improve their situation. The study was carried out in France, Spain, Slovakia, Estonia and Macedonia.
