38 young people from five countries, one week in nature, and one common theme—how to manage stress and recharge their lives. The KERIC team, together with four partner organizations, organized the Erasmus+ youth exchange “More Energy, Less Stress,” which showed that young people can create their own best recipes for well-being—they just need the space to do so.
From June 8 to 14, 2026, Dolný Vadičov became the hub of an international Erasmus+ training program for youth workers. The IN & OUT 4 training welcomed 26 participants from 16 countries—Slovakia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, the Netherlands, France, Italy, Lithuania, Albania, Georgia, Spain, Argentina, Egypt, and Germany.
On February 9, the library in Čadca turned into a lively space of cultures, languages, and stories. European Solidarity Corps volunteers from KERIC prepared interactive workshops where children could discover new countries, learn simple words and gestures, and experience geography in a playful way.
The online symposium for the Not Just A Game project, supported by Erasmus+, successfully concluded yesterday, bringing together youth workers, coaches, stakeholders, and policymakers from across Europe to share progress and discuss how sport can be leveraged to promote social inclusion and reduce the risk of violent radicalization. The event saw 109 participants, with a peak attendance of 70 people actively engaging in the sessions.
36 young people from Romania, Macedonia, Georgia, and Spain gathered in Ladonhora, Slovakia for a week-long youth exchange centered on the theme Understanding Cultural Differences in Relationships. The project focused on building intercultural awareness, empathy, and communication skills through creative workshops, team activities, and shared experiences.
For the third time, we have prepared our popular In&Out training at KERIC - training that we enjoy doing because we know it works. We know how to create a safe, stimulating and experiential space for young youth workers where they not only improve their skills in non-formal learning, but also take away new friendships, ideas, inspiration - and sometimes a few muscles from outdoor activities. 😄
On 11-16 March 2025, an international training focused on the use of AI and IT tools in youth work took place in Čadca. It was attended by 16 youth workers from 9 countries 🇦🇲🇬🇪🇨🇿🇧🇪🇮🇹🇹🇷🇪🇸🇩🇪🇸🇰, who during the week focused on innovative methods and tools to improve their work.
39 youngsters from 5 different nations met at Dolný Vadičov on 17th to 24th of June to find out more about themselves and their relationship with nature.

On 6-12 June 2023, 25 enthusiastic youth workers from 10 different countries came together to hone their skills in organising unforgettable summer camps for children.
