Hey, my name is Olha Yevsihnieieva and I was born in Kharkiv, Ukraine in 1999.

🎈What's your motivation to come for the project?
It's a difficult question. I think I'm here to meet new people, to get better at English, and most importantly to help refugees, to help them communicate, maybe find a job...

Do you study?
No, I got my bachelor and master in translation already in 2021.

What was your dream job when you were little?
When I was 3 years old I wanted to become an Olympic winner in swimming, and when I was 7, I wanted to become a surgeon.

What was your favorite subject in 🏫school?
English and Chemistry. Why Chemistry? It worked for me and I used to like to do experiments.

What is your favorite sport?
Yoga and I have a love and hate relationship with biathlon. I llove it because I like to shoot an air rifle and I hate it because when it's on TV, my grandparents swear and yell at the TV while I'm watching it.

What sort of after-school/out-of-school clubs did you attend?
I used to like dancing, but it didn't go very well. It took me 2 years to realize that I hate it. Bow shooting.

What is your favorite 🎵music?
I am a melomane. But I like different types of music like pop, rock, indie. Idk, I listen to everything.

Do you have siblings? How many, are they older or younger? Who are you closest to in your 👨‍👨‍👧‍👦family?
Luckily no. I'm closest to my mum.

What is your definition of 😀“happiness”?
Being with people I love and spending time with my family.

What is your most memorable 🚌travel experience?
When I went to Poltava, it's a very beautiful city, there are many trees and rivers... I went there with my mum to see this summer house built by the Swiss during the war. They left there some swiss clothing, and it was very hard to get there. It looks like a small hill, and it's very steep when you come closer. When we finally managed to get there, we found the correct road, and it was hilarious. Also, there were many snakes.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
Watching TV series, reading books, talking to my friends.

What is your greatest fear?
I'm not afraid of dark or spiders or stuff like that. But I'm afraid of losing someone unexpectedly.

What is your greatest hope?
I hope we will solve these ecological issues.

Trust your guts.

I like watching football, but not playing it, and I love to do gymnastics.

English clubs, mentoring trainings, piano lessons, and I was also a leader of movie club. I'm volunteering already more than 3 years. I volunteered as an English teacher in a kindergarten, than I started to volunteer in @, my sending organization, and I was also a mentor in mentoring centre. Last time I volunteered during Covid to help the people in need.

I like jazz, but I listen to all the genres.

I have one younger sister and I think I have it opposite, whole family is close to me.

I always watch movies, I'm a big fun. I love to walk alone as well, or having good time with my friends.

It's a difficult question. One day I wake up and I want to be an actress, and another I want to be a different thing. But in general I want to wake up and have a smile on my face while doing something good. I would like to find something in social area.

I participated in Lion's club and I was a volunteer in charity work, HRC - Health Rescue Center where we were impacting 👦young people by motivating them to enrich their education. E.g.: We talk to young girls and help them go back to school as it's not common in our society that girls are studying.

What's you motivation to come for the project?
New environment, learning languages, experience of living with people of different nationalities, getting to know different cultures, discovering new worlds, at this stage of life I needed a new and interesting environment, I think I came to the right place at the right time.

Do you study? What is your dream job?
Yes, I think I will not stop studying at no point in my life.
Work ?! - where I will have constant and direct communication with people and help them in some direction.
I get pleasure from all kinds of sports. I love active life.

What was your favorite subject in school?
Georgian language. from a young age I love poems and the creative world in general.

What is your favorite sport?
I get pleasure from all kinds of sports. I love an active life.

What sort of after-school/out-of-school clubs did you attend?
I am interested in psychology as well as journalism, management, and codes. I have attended their trainings at different times, and I am still actively involved in similar trainings.

I prefer songs that have endured for centuries. And I love songs from old Georgian movies.

Yes, I have two older sisters and one brother. I'm a little. I would especially highlight the relationship between my mother and me. Mother is an earthly angel to me.

Mother's inflamed eyes for which you are the cause... Peace of mind... A smile from the heart... Happiness is in everything, we just have to learn to see and feel...

What is your most memorable travel experience?
Never go alone! Share it with someone, you will collect a lot of memories together. Take a camera, pen, and notebook with you where you will make notes.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
It can be anything that gives me happiness in that moment. Even if I dance like crazy. Most often at such times I either go or read a book.

If you could possess one super-human power, what would it be?
I will become a butterfly, the most colorful. I will use his three-day life, fly in the sky, travel the world, and then die like him.

I went by bike along the German part of the Elbe river with my father and sister and also I was in London for one week which was very cool (seeing a musical was my highlight).

It's not popular to do that in Austria. I was just 🐾hiking with my parent in my free time or playing with friends.

I don't know. I would like to be a 🛩pilot. But now it's not a stable industry so I'm just thinking about it.

Yes, I have an older sister, she is 20, and she lives in Berlin. The closest is my dog, she listens to all of my problems.

When I went to Peru with my friend whose dad is from there and we saw not the tourist places but how people really live there.

My life hasn't been that long, I have to still learn lots of things, but my biggest lesson was to get help when you need it.

Why did you decide to be a volunteer?

I decided to become a volunteer after ending my studies, I did not felt in the proper environment (I like what I was studying but not the way it was made) it was boring for me. I wanted to do something real, to meet new people and see other countries/cultures, I first did an Erasmus+ in Brussels at CORESO (I was in the administrative part) for 5 months, and now I am here in KERIC.

Ahoj, ja sa volam Wara, ja som z Bolivia a ja mam 23 rokov. My EVS project is for 8 months, i am here already 6, my time is running so fast! This time was more than amazing, I met great people with who i learned so many things.

I didn´t expect something like what i am living now, i like my activities here with kids and teenagers, is great for me know another people, culture and mentality, that makes me open my mind, explore and enjoy our differences.

Hello, Am called Dr Ssengendo Brian Uganda. Am 27 years old, currently am volunteering with Keric in Slocakia for 10 months. When I was a student, I was also the head of Human Resources of Sustainable Development Club (SDC). Over last three years, I has experienced in running social projects that helped improve the lives of less fortunate children and adults in Vietnam.

Ahoj! My name is Manon, i’m French, and i’m volunteer to come in Slovakia in Čadca to teach english and french to children. I choose this project because i like KERIC’s methodology, to teach, like not formal couses but have fun and make some games, to make children study with fun and pleasure.

I also want to improve my English and learn slovak by the way.

Volám sa Veronika, mám 19 rocov a ja som z rakuska. For the next 11 months, I will be staying in Čadca for giving english und german courses in Keric. Apart from this, I will cooperate with two other schools and I hope to get the chance to work in a social centre for people with disabilities as well. The time here in slovakia has been great so far, I really like the organisation and all these nice and enthusiastic people around it. I am convinced that this is going to be an amazing and enriching time for me ;)
