The ESC team was a huge success for us and for the volunteers :)

Once again, thank you very much for your help, effort, and interest in our project!On May 24, 10 young people from 5 different European countries came to do volunteer work as part of the European Solidarity Corps teams. Their task: to build a permaculture educational trail and get to know each other. 

They left such a positive impression on the eco-village "Lebensgarten" that many residents asked, "When is the next seminar?"

Their origins in Italy🇮🇹, Portugal🇵🇹, France🇫🇷, Kosovo🇽🇰, and Slovakia🇸🇰 no longer played a role in the group, but only people - in the spirit of the motto diversity in unity and unity in diversity.

The gardeners were full of praise for the volunteers, especially now that it is so dry and they need help with watering.

In addition to social activities (especially dancing on Saturday evening), they also got to know the city of Hanover and the "Pulverfabrik Memorial Center" in Liebenau.

There they took a tour of the former arms factory, which left a deep impression on everyone.

Although the participants may not have noticed it, their joy and solidarity were part of the peace work that the volunteers themselves contribute to the healing process on site. Because that is what it is all about: remembering the victims of war from different European countries in order to reconcile the present with the past.

This experience proves that when young hearts work together, they don't just build trails—they build a more peaceful and sustainable world.
