Changes in European Volunteering applicable to all projects submitted for the period 2021-2027

Volunteering can be done through two programs within the ESC:

1) ESC volunteering: from 35 years to EU countries + participating countries (mainly Scandinavia, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, Belarus, Serbia, Montenegro, etc ..), aimed at people with fewer opportunities who go the experience has yet to be gained. Everything is as before, except for the age difference. Projects up to 12 months.

2) ESC HumAid: New program. which was originally EUAID. It is worldwide, focused on humanitarian aid, requires volunteers with experience and education. The training is more extensive. There is no age limit for senior volunteers (experts in the field). Projects up to 12 months.

Participating organizations must be certified for both programs. ESC volunteering is submitted to the National Agency in your country and ESC HumAid to Brussels.
