What are volunteers doing in Čadca?

The aim is to motivate children to communicate in English and bring another dimension to teaching.

Keric is right now cooperating with 17 schools in region Kysuce, which volunteers are visiting once or two times per week. Of course, the tasks of volunteer are not just about teaching. They have an option to take part in various workshops, training, summer camp, and Slovak lessons.

Accommodation is provided in the organizations building, volunteers usually share a room with another volunteer and then share kitchen and bathroom with others.

The volunteer has the opportunity to get to know the educational system, new activities, and games for lessons, learn how to communicate in another language and discover Slovakia.

KERIC is a non-profit non-governmental organisation working mainly with children and youth aged 4-30 as well as adults. We offer a wide range of activities with an extra added international dimension which develop the personality of children and youth and differ based on the needs of participants.
