Ahoj! Volám sa Valentina, som Talianka a mám 24 rokov. In Italy I live in Aprilia, a city near Rome. I go every day to Rome by train for study, work and meet my friends. During this year, among other things, I will be "dobrovoľníčka KERICu". There I will do my EVS, I will teach italian and english languages and will learn your language. I hope to take part of the Čadca's community and to speak slovak very soon, because I don't want to be a turist or only a volunteer. Ja som rada, že som na Slovensku.

Ahoj! Volám sa Samuel, ja mám 21 rokov, som z Francúzska. In France, I live in Saint-Etienne, a city of 170 000 inhabitants, famous for the Football Club (ASSE). In my free time, I love to ride my mountain bike, to travel, meet my friends… 3 years ago, I was student in a design university and last year, I was volunteer in an association which the name is "Unis cité". I wanted to continue in the volunteering but in an other country, it's the reason why I decided to do an EVS, and in Slovakia because I met a Slovak boy who worked with me in Unis-Cité during 9 Months. In Cadca I will help children to learn English and French. I'm really happy to do my EVS in Slovakia and in Keric!!!

Ahoj! Volám sa Agustín, mám 20 rokov a som z Uruguaja. Som dobrovoľník v KERICu! I like to play the guitar, and play lots of sports! I mostly like football, but I play all sorts of sports! I like Cadca very much, the people are very nice and it is a beautiful, lively and colorful town. I have just started my EVS, but I believe it will give me that which I am looking for: new and unique experiences, lots of memories and knowledge about the world to take back to Uruguay. Chau!

Volám sa Andrea. I am 19 years old and I'm from Osttirol in Austria. In Keric I will mostly try to help people learning German and encourage them to speak the language. I'm looking forward to this. I think it will be fun! As well I will study the Slovak language. Up to now I can't speak it but I think after some time it won't be a problem anymore as it's a very nice language and I'm very motivated to learn it. I have the feeling that Keric is a very good place for developing different projects and ideas. I think the EVS here will be a great experience and a chance for doing a lot of new things.

Volam sa Andres!! :D Im from Costa Rica and Im very anxious to know all the Slovakia culture, and in the same time I teach you about my culture (music, food, traditional nature, traditional dress, etc etc). I brought all my positive energy with me to do the best work that we can to share. This will be for one year so I hope to enjoy everything, learn slovak language and that you enjoy me too! It’s interesting and lovely to be in Cadca, especially the sight of the snow that swept me out of my feet. I will be here in Keric- Cadca, Slovakia for 12 months teaching English and other activities organized by Keric.

I offer to volunteer my time and energy to create an enabling environment to achievement of Keric’s objectives.

I have never travelled out of Africa and this volunteering opportunity has opened up my life to see the other side of life: things that obliviously we have been ignorant about. Here I am experiencing new things in my life and I am building my capacity to interact and relate with people from different cultures. “ Come, let us share and experience this new fusion of African-Eurpean culture”!!!!!

Ahoj!! Volám sa Valerio, mám 24 rokov. Ja som z Talianska. Ja som dobrovoľnik v Kericu. I arrived in Cadca on January, the 10th and i'm here to share happy and nice moments of life, doing several and interesting things like teaching italian and english to children and people until 30 years old!

I'm really excited and interested in living a new lifestyle in role of volunteer, not just because of foreign country's life, but for the wish to share my experiences and culture and my favorite passions with other people as well, no matter what age they are! I suggest doing EVS to everyone, because i'm sure your soul and your mind will have huge benefit

Ahoj!! J Volám sa Dalibor, mám 19 rokov. Ja som z Macedónska. Ja som dobrovoľnik v Kericu. I will be here in Keric - Čadca, Slovakia for 12 months teaching English for children and teenagers and i will try to help in Keric with everything that i can. Usually i want to spend my spare time with my closest friends and family no matter how we‘ll spent it.

For some time i was thinking what to do next like what i want to study and work after in my life and i couldn’t find the answer, so i‘ve decided to try to experience something else in my life, something new. I’ve never been abroad especially not like volunteer so i found this programme and i‘ve decided to apply for it and here i’m experiencing new things and meeting wonderful people, wonderful country with plenty of nature,history and culture. My message to everyone who are afraid to do something like this – DO IT.

Ahoj!! My name is Valentina. I`m from Italy. I`m a university student, I graduated in March with a degree in Psychology and I intend to continue my studies in September. I decided to work as an EVS volunteer because I was searching for an experience that could give me something more than the books and could be useful for my personal development. I wished to get to know another culture and another way of life, to learn new things and I wanted to give my energy and my capacities at the same time. I can tell you that this experience has exceeded my expectations…. I`m really happy to be here!!

Som Angela z Južného Talianska. Skončila som univerzitu a teraz sa chcem učiť slovenčinu a angličtinu... stretnúť nových ľudí... spoznať tradície a kultúru tejto prekrásnej krajiny... počas 6 mesiacov budem pracovať v skanzene vo Vychylovke. KERIC je super a myslím si, že to bude výborná skúsenosť. I´m Angela from Southern Italy (pizza, spaghetti, caffé... good... very good). I finished my univerity studies and now I want to learn Slovak and English... meet people... know tradition and culture of this beautiful country... for this in the next 6 months i will work at the Vychlovka Museum... Dobre :) Keric is wonderful and i think it will be a good experience... Now I´m going... Ciao... Have a nice day :)
